Recipe Categories: Dessert
Written by

This light and easy pastry makes a great dessert when you don't want to fuzz to much but want to serve something elegant and filling. It combines the sweetness of the figs with the creaminess of the mascarpone cheese and then the crunchiness of the puff pastry. Ingredients ready made puff pastry 15-20 Figs (fresh or dry) mascarpone cheese 4-8oz 2 tbs butter 1/2 cup honey 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp salt mint (for garnish) Directions Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit. no, it does not taste like labneh, but if you can't find mascarpone then use cream cheese or creme fresh

Mascarpone is a buttery cream cheese that tastes very smooth and amazing, it is used to fill canoli's and to make tiramisu but also goes great with other desserts. I also love to put it on toast and pumpkin jam :)
