it's delicious if you squeeze a bit of lemon on it and you can also use pine nuts with the mixture if you like

K, one question.. Is the meat being properly cooked when you cook it lyk tht.. Cause My mom is always saying its uncooked even though i luv it tha way it is! ( lol u should see her face when me n my dad eat kubi! Lol well shes frm india n my dads from saudi..) so yeah...

all the meat shrinks, you can fold them over to make them look more appealing. Meat always shrinks when you cook it b/c moisture is released, you did nothing wrong, it's just how meat cooks. Just try pushing the meat out as far as possible when you are spreading it on the dough :)

sahtain! I am so happy that you liked them :)

I'm sure you won't be surprised to hear that we have this in Turkey too.

there really is no difference in the recipe, just the shape. You can also add ground jalapeno to the meat mix and that tastes great too :)

cool...its nice to know the lingo. I'm not a know-it-all on Pali, or for that matter Arab cuisine and such, I've never seen a square (unless custom done) meat pie (and by "meat pie" strictly referring to "lahme bi ajeen")...what is the difference between the two?
By: jasminea123
In Lebanon, sfeeha is the square meet pies :)
By: dedemed
