I usually store my tahini in the cupboard and it's good for about 6 months.

Girl, you have talent! You need your own cooking program on the food network.
This was the best Hummus recipe I have ever tried. Believe me, I've tried at least 5 others. This was easy and tasty. Much more economical to make it at home.
Thanks a bunch.

Hi Dede,
I have one question. My husband peels off the skins of the chick peas before using them. Is that necessary? I didn't notice you peeling them before you used them. It really is an annoying step, so if I could skip it, it would be great!

Well, as long as you have a good blender you don't need to peel them. I never peel my chickpeas b/c it takes to long. If you have a good blender they will blend up in the mix and he will never know that you didn't peel them
