Dear DEEDEE
I made your grapr leaves and my family said thay were bette then the Deli, Thanks! I was wondering if you could tell me how to make baked lanb,I have had this with a arabic family for thanksgiving. It was served with yelow rice and a thin yogurt sauce. Can you send me this recipe
Hello,
Lamb is pretty much prepared just like a roast, depending on the cut of meat you get you can cook it like a pot road in the oven with some rosemary, lemon juice, onions, salt, black pepper and garlic. Cook on about 300 degrees for for about 3 hours or until meat is tender. You can marinate it in the seasoning the night before and then just put it in the pan the next day. You can also cook it in the slow cooker and you'll get the same result. Lamb can be very tender b/c it is high in fat. Check out my brown rice video for the rice recipe just add some saffron to the rice when you are cooking it. For the yogurt check out my tzatziki sauce. Try it and let me know

dear dede
Thank you for the amazing recipes you have given and shown to everyone. You are pleasant to watch and make it look so simple. I really love arabic food, a friend who is lebanese introduced me to arabic cooking and I've been in love with it ever since. I always look for cookbooks that have lebanese recipes, its one of the best foods to eat, so flavourful and appealing to the eye. I absolutely enjoy watching you make these recipes, the way you slowly and efficiently explain everything makes it a joy for me to make these recipes too. Thanks for all the hard work, it looks like you enjoy doing this. I can't wait to see more recipes coming soon. One question can I replace sumac with something else. I don't have anywhere close by to purchase it. Thanks a million times over keep up the good work.
Hello,
Thank you for the nice comments, I really appreciate that.
Well sumac adds a tangy flavor to dishes, it is very unique and adds a different element of flavor. You can buy the sumac on my website under the store link and it's pretty cheap.
